DMO Software: Renewal of the public certificate of Sepblac

Unofficial translation provided for information purposes.

Please note our language policy.

The DMO software, available for download from the website of Sepblac, allows obliged subjects to comply with the obligation of systematic communication referred to in article 20 of Law 10/2010 of 28 April, on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.

For a secure exchange of information, declarations made via DMO are encrypted by using digital certificates. Due to its expiration during September 2018, Sepblac has renewed its public certificate. Consequently, all obliged subjects using the DMO software as of 18 September 2018 must update the public certificate of Sepblac installed within the software.

From that date, only declarations made from computers with the updated public certificate will be accepted. It will not be possible to process any declaration or fractionation submitted from computers with a not updated public certificate of Sepblac and, therefore, declarations and fractionations will be rejected.

  • Not updating the public certificate of Sepblac means not being able to go on making DMO declarations and, consequently, not being able to fulfill with the obligation of systematic communication referred to in article 20 of Law 10/2010 of 28 April.

The new public certificate of Sepblac and the instructions to install it within the DMO software are available for download on the following links:

  • Procedure for updating the public certificate of Sepblac

For any further information about this formality, please visit the Obliged subjects section on this site or click here.
